Red iPhone 7 is Released, Should You Buy? 7 Considerations to Help You Decide.

I do like and love red. That’s why when I heard the news – Apple is releasing Red-colored iPhone, my heart was jumping. Well literally jumping. However I was a bit disappointed to know that the front part of the Red iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is white screen and not the black screen. Anyway as a red die-hard, the Red iPhone 7 is still a huge distraction for me, although I already owned and currently using Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus. What about you?

In case you can’t really decide whether or not to buy the red iPhone 7 (or iPhone 7 Plus), you may want to take a look at the following considerations to help you decide.

Here are 7 considerations to help you decide to Buy or no Buy Red iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus

1. It’s time to upgrade

If you haven’t upgrade your phone (iPhone or Android or something else) for sometime and now it’s time to upgrade, then why not get the red iPhone 7 or 7 Plus. It’s fancy and eye-catching. Here are the 7 reasons Why you should still consider buying iPhone 7 in 2017

2. A red die-hard

If you got the money and you consider yourself a red die-hard (read: fans of anything with red color), regardless you already have iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus, then definitely you have to buy it. It’s YOLO anyway. You Only Live Once.

3. Another red die-hard but no budget

If today you already own iPhone 7 (or iPhone 7 Plus) and you consider yourself a red die-hard, but you don’t really have the full budget to get that new fancy red iPhone, you may want to consider:
a. Easiest and cheapest: Buy a red casing. For you consideration: search for iPhone 7 360 case.

b. Easier and cheaper: Buy a red skin wrap for your iPhone. In the end it will looks almost similar to the real thing.
c. Not so easy and cost you money: consider exchange your current iPhone 7 to the red iPhone 7 + top up some money.
d. No easy and cost you money plus voiding the warranty: Buy a red housing and change the iPhone housing or have it changed to red.

5. Apple fans

If you need to buy Apple iOS device but don’t really have the budget, you may want to consider iPhone 7 siblings: iPhone 6S or iPhone SE, they are cheaper and yet still consider powerful and long term investment. As proof, Apple just released new iPad with the A9 processor, the same processor that powers iPhone 6S and iPhone SE. That means Apple will not likely end support for iPhone 6S and iPhone SE anytime soon. For support case, Apple did support iPhone 4S with 5 iterations of iOS: means 5 years continuous iOS upgrade.

6. The collector

If you consider yourself as a collector (you must have the money and money shouldn’t be an issue for you), yes you have to get this Red iPhone 7. Anyway it’s special edition and may not be released on subsequent iPhone release. As a proof, Apple made separate purchase pages and not combined the special edition (PRODUCT) RED iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus with its iPhone 7 siblings.

7. I just want a phone

If you don’t really care whether it’s Apple or not, as long as the phone can serve your daily needs and price could be a bit of constraint for you, you may want to consider either second hand iPhone or brand new Android phone. Anyway, compared to Apple with iPhone, Android has huge catalogs to choose from, so you can match with what your need and of course match with your budget.

So…

Although I like red, but given the circumstances, for now I just keep my Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus and use a 360 red case on it. What about you, are you going to get the Red iPhone 7? Which one of the 7 are you in?
