Fun fact: In case you don’t know, in Japan, the same game – Street of Rage – is marketed and known as Bare Knuckle.
Depends on who you are, if you were born somewhere in 90’s or before (means you are either Gen X or Gen Y – Millenials), high chances you have played most of the Street of Rage series, from Street of Rage original to Street of Rage 3. But if you were born 2000’s till recently (means you are Gen Z), likely the only Street of Rage you know and have played is Street of Rage 4.
Many not know is that after Street of Rage 3 released back in 1994 and before Street of Rage 4 which was released in April 2020, there’s another sequel/prequel to the series, a fan-made Street of Rage game with codename “SORRv5.1”.
Play the Street of Rage Remake: Sequel to Street of Rage 3, Prequel to Street of Rage 4
Yes, the “SORRv5.1” fan-made game is released as Street of Rage Remake.
The game contains 100 stages (you are not reading it wrongly) and plenty of Street of Rage characters, to name a few: Axel, Blaze, Adam, Skate, Dr. Zan and so many more.
While the game may not have the updated graphics like what you see on Street of Rage 4, because the fact that this game was released back in 2011, the game is still fun to play – it brings back memories of the old Street of Rage series. And more importantly, since this is a fan made game, it’s available as FREE-TO-DOWNLOAD and FREE-TO-PLAY! How awesome that is!

Some of these games below, you can play them with a Bluetooth Controller. In case you are interested, here’s the controller I use.
