Well, I’m writing this article specifically to share with you the steps needed to be done to convert your SingTel Prepaid SIM Card into SingTel GOMO for FREE. Yes, you read it right – for FREE. I’m writing this based on my personal experience and while I’m sharing this so that you too can convert yours for free, but please don’t abuse it – otherwise SingTel may reconsider and close the loop.

Here’s how you can convert your SingTel Prepaid SIM Card into SingTel GOMO for FREE
Follow these steps to get your SingTel prepaid number converted into SingTel GOMO for $0 a.k.a FREE.
Step 1) Go to SingTel shop
You can go to any SingTel shop that provide conversion services. Use the following SingTel store locator to find nearest SingTel shop around you: SingTel Shop Locator.
Step 2) Tell them you want SingTel GOMO
Bring along your SingTel prepaid SIM card, together with IC/Passport. Tell the person attending you that you want to convert into SingTel GOMO.
They will start the procedure to convert your SingTel prepaid SIM Card into SingTel postpaid SIM Card. Unfortunately at the time this article is written, there’s no direct way to convert your SingTel prepaid into SingTel GOMO, so you need to first convert your SingTel prepaid into SingTel Postpaid. Since this is only temporary, tell them to give you the most basic SingTel postpaid plan. At the end of billing cycle, you’ll be charged a minimum fee (which you can waive – see the subsequent steps).
Step 3) Then register for SingTel GOMO
Do this step only after you get signal on your new SingTel postpaid. If you have not got any signal from SingTel postpaid (means you are still getting Signal from your SingTel prepaid), then hold on. Do not attempt to do this step yet.
SingTel GOMO registration unfortunately can’t be done offline (via SingTel shop), you have to register SingTel GOMO online (at least this what happened at the time this article is written).
Once you get SingTel postpaid signal (by inserting your SingTel Postpaid SIM Card into your phone and get the SingTel signal), then follow these:
a) Open SingTel GOMO link: SingTel GOMO Number Conversion.
b) Choose “KEEP MY EXISTING NUMBER”. Then follow the remaining steps as instructed on the screen.
Step 4) Activate SingTel GOMO
Within 4 days of successful application, your SingTel GOMO SIM Card will arrive (either by post or by collection). Activate it by inserting SingTel GOMO SIM Card into your phone. Ensure you get SingTel GOMO signal (shown on your phone screen as “SingTel”).
Step 5) Then ask waiver for your SingTel Postpaid
Do this step only after you receive the billing from SingTel for your SingTel postpaid SIM card.
You can either use this link: SingTel Account and login or this link: SingTel Billing Help to ask a waiver.
